I´m Zeno. A Belgian landscape architect based in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany.

After having designed and built over 120 private gardens in the bigger Stuttgart - Ulm region, I made a carreerswitch to the city council of Schwäbisch Gmünd, where I work as the department leader for public green spaces within this beautiful city. Since my professional daily routine includes less creative planning and more project and people management - I´m very happy to make up for it practicing this side-business.

I speak and write fluent business dutch, french, english and german. You`re welcome to contact me in any of these languages.

Here´s how I work:

What I do

Step 1: We get in touch

  • We agree on a first appointment

  • Depending on the distance between us, we arrange a personal visit, skype/teams- or phonecall

  • We discuss your wishes, the service I will be providing and the cost

  • Step 1 goes on my behalf - only when signing the contract you will officially be my customer

Step 2: Gathering the information and documentation needed to start designing

  • Drawings and plans of your property

  • Height measurements

  • Existing structures, plants, trees which need to be implemented

  • Your wishlist, plain and simple, to know which direction I should go

Step 3: Design process

  • Conceptual hand sketches

  • Making an architectural layout

  • Detailed CAD-drawings (AutoCAD)

  • Basic 3D-Model of my design (AutoCAD, Sketchup)

Step 4: Visualizing and rendering the design

  • Turning the 3D-model into a photorealistic rendering (Lumion)

  • Adding green structures, trees, plants

  • Staging your outdoor spaces with furniture, people etc.

  • If desired, making a night rendering with lighting

Step 5: Presentation time

  • Delivering the rendered images of your project

  • Delivering a 2D-designplan of your project

  • Delivering a 3D-rendered video of your project (Youtube, public or private)

  • Optional:

    • Delivering a list of suggestions for materials, plants, trees etc.

    • Delivering a roughly estimated calculation of your total project or just parts of it (e.g. the driveway, terrace, pool)

Step 6: Making your dream become reality

  • After delivering your project, it´s up to you to contact a construction company, landscaping company or gardener of your choice and presenting them your garden design.

  • All of the plans, renderings, videos and further information will be your property to use for future garden development.
